SeedaNeed.com the World Wide good deed organization has stepped up to help inspire and promote the support of our troops. The project founder has a desire for employers nationwide to adopt the program.

Wentzville, MO, June 15, 2009 — SeedaNeed.com is a good deed organization that has been launched to do good deeds Nation wide, and eventually worldwide. The non-profit organization is a web based program that helps people first recognize how easy it is to change a life by doing good things, and secondly helps users track the good deeds by supplying SeedaNeed Good Deed cards at no cost. The SeedaNeed Good Deed cards have an ID number on the card, the ID is entered to the site seedaneed.com, and the user leaves a comment about the good deed, and then passes the card along. This allows an ongoing string of good deeds that can be watched and tracked for the life of the card.

The recent campaign “Seed a Soldiers Need” has been launched by the project founder Eddie Struckman. “I basically took the idea of helping a soldier to a company and it was well received, and so many employees had loved ones overseas. With the fact of the need being so great, many people wanted to volunteer goods and it was an instant success.” Said Struckman in a recent interview

“With so many people having loved ones and family members oversees and serving in the military, this offers a way for the community to come together and help.” Said Struckman

The project consists of finding a soldier that is able to receive goods, encouraging people to donate, and sending it off. With the current APO AE mail system it doesn’t costs any extra to send to soldiers overseas.

It is very easy to get involved with the “Seed a Soldiers Need” program by just contacting the SeedaNeed organization directly on there website. They are able to supply you or your company and workplace with needed graphics, flyers, boxes, and most importantly SeedaNeed Good Deed Cards. It’s as easy as placing a box in a location and encouraging others to fill it with the needed supplies. In every community nationwide there are soldiers that could use an encouragement.

Men in Kilts has been voted Greenest Business in Richmond, BC thanks in part to their Eco Friendly ‘5 Minute Green Estimate’

Richmond, BC, June 02, 2009 — Men in Kilts CEO Brent Hohlweg says “At Men in Kilts doing the right thing really can be affordable, convenient and have a huge positive environmental impact! We’ve invested heavily in clean technology that allows us to provide free GREEN ESTIMATES in under 5 minutes by phone and present our prices including current insurance and worksafe papers right up front for your protection.”

Brent goes on to say that “no other company servicing the Lower Mainland in Vancouver for the Window Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning and Pressure Washing business has any technology that even comes close to our eco friendly efforts. Usually when you call a service company they dispatch an estimator to your home and that single act puts in motion some significant environmental concerns. If the estimator is eliminated or reduced we all win as one less truck gets put on the road! The gas alone for one average service truck to be dispatched for an estimate releases hundreds of pounds of CO2 into the environment every year.”

Men in Kilts proudly has also become the first company in our industry to be using Bullfrog Power, Canada’s 100% green electricity provider, offering our office energy with a 100% low-impact renewable electricity choice. Bullfrog Power’s green electricity comes exclusively from wind and hydro facilities that have been certified as low impact by Environment Canada under its ‘EcoLogo’ program, instead of from carbon-intensive sources like coal and natural gas or from higher impact hydro facilities. As a Bullfrog Power customer Men in Kilts is helping enable new green generation facilities to be built in Canada.

Men in Kilts also only uses all natural cleaning solutions that are 100% biodegradable, and all fleet operations are ‘Climate Friendly’ by Offsetters http://www.offsetters.ca/ .In fact Brent notes that “Men in Kilts has gone so far as to even ensure that the office network is using Green Low Energy technology” by Dlink Green Products.

Brent finished by saying that everyone at Men in Kilts is “humbled and proud that in our fragmented industry of Window Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning and Pressure Washing in Vancouver’s Lower Mainland we have been able to take a leading GREEN COMMITMENT http://meninkilts.net/new/green.html in our industry and be voted the GREENEST BUSINESS by our customers”.

Men in Kilts Profile:
Men in Kilts was started in 2002 by Nic Brand with $500 and a rusty old Honda. In 2006 Brent Hohlweg and Nic Brand partnered to rebrand and start the process of franchising development. Men in Kilts has grown to a million dollar operation and featured in many prominent articles including The Vancouver Sun http://www2.canada.com/vancouversun/news/business/… Men in Kilts is currently on the cusp of franchising across North America and recently was awarded the 2008 Young Entrepreneurs of the Year by the Richmond Chamber of Commerce http://www.richmondchamber.ca/dyn.2008_Award_Winne…

Men in Kilts is truly Vancouver’s Premier Window Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning and Pressure Washing company…They love the freedom of kilts, so please use extreme caution and No Peeking!

The Prime Minister has released an open letter to Burmese pro-democracy activist Aung San Suu Kyi.

Read the letter:

Dear Daw Suu

The Burmese regime continues to resist the righteous clamour from your people and from the international community for your release. As you and the Burmese people are denied your democratic rights and freedoms the only way for me to communicate with you is through this open letter.

I wanted to publish it to let you know that you are not alone – that people are standing with you not just here in Britain, but everywhere that democracy and freedom are upheld.

We are heartened by your tremendous courage, your inspirational leadership, and by the knowledge that no oppression is so great that the forces of liberty cannot prevail The history books are full of stories of injustice. But they are also full of stories of hope, resistance and the victories that satisfy the deep human yearning to be free. I am confident that your story will stand prominently among those that show that from
the deepest wells of despair can come the greatest triumphs of human endeavour.

Inspired by and in solidarity with you, the British Government will continue to work with our international partners to support Burma’s path to stability, peace and economic recovery. The UN Security Council has set out the steps necessary for a return to democracy in Burma. I have worked with our partners in the EU to maintain sanctions that are tough and targeted against those individuals who wish to deny the Burmese people their rights. And I will continue to press your neighbours in Asia to work even harder for your release and that of all political prisoners in Burma.

My message to the Burmese regime is clear the people of Burma have suffered nearly half a century of conflict and isolation, it is time to embrace a new beginning. So I say to the Generals who imprison you: the time for a transition to democracy is now. By excluding you from that future, by silencing and imprisoning you, they condemn your country to
further decades of poverty and exclusion.

Your continued imprisonment reminds all of us that we should not take for granted the institution of democracy for which you campaign That we should not rest until you are able to play your rightful role in a free and secure Burma. And that our place is alongside all those who face imprisonment, repression and despair in their battle to build democracy, confront poverty and protect human rights. Daw Suu I want you to know: you are not alone.

Yours sincerely

Gordon Brown
