GREENFIELD, MA – Copperhill Media announces its newest release, “The Ayurvedic Healer,” a novel by Indian author Joy J. Kaimaparamban.

Set in the intriguing atmosphere of India in the early 20th century, full of mysticism, love, compassion, and political drama, The Ayurvedic Healer tells the story of Madhavan Namboodiri, a physician practicing an ancient medical science, and his enduring love for Rosalie. By healing the underprivileged, regardless of their status, touching the untouchables, he follows his beliefs and disobeys the rules of his society. His life story is set in the background of India’s struggle for freedom, the communist revolt in the Southern State of Kerala, social advancement, and the emergence of new societies. The Ayurvedic Healer sweeps the reader into an exotic place and time, rendering an intimate experience through sharing Madhavan Namboodiri’s life and love.

Joy J. Kaimaparamban has written 18 novels in his native Malayalam language, four of them are children’s literature. His first novel in Malayalam received the Tagore award, named after Rabindranath Tagore, a famous poet, novelist, musician, playwright, and Nobel Prize winner.

Joy J. Kaimaparamban was born in October 1939 to a middle class family in the Southern state of Kerala in India. After finishing his education he became a schoolmaster and worked in several Kerala government schools teaching English. He retired in 1995. Currently he lives in Vayalar, a beautiful village in the Alappuzha (Alleppey) district with his wife and two children.

His first novel written in English, The Azure of Solicitude, was published in 2009. His second novel, The Ayurvedic Healer, was published by Copperhill Media in July of 2010.

Joy J. Kaimaparamban is not only a passionate storyteller. He envisions people and events, past or present, in his native India as material for unwritten works. These visions and the ability to transform them into fascinating stories is a trademark of his novels.

The Ayurvedic Healer is available though all major online stores, including Amazon.Com and Barnes & Noble, and through all good bookstores.

South African author Nerine Dorman will be planning a third instalment in her urban fantasy Khepera series, published by Lyrical Press, which is available in both print and electronic editions.

Although she had intended book one, Khepera Rising, as a standalone novel, she says, “One really can’t predict whether more stories will develop out of an initial concept. The main character, Jamie, lends himself to additional misadventures, and it has been a fascinating journey so far with my reverse-Harry Potter main character. Jamie sums up suburbia’s worst fears in one smart-mouthed cynical package. I’m still cackling and rubbing my hands together in glee at my outline for book three.”

The author reports consistent feedback from readers, many who enjoy the unusual setting. Dorman says, “Although the subject matter will appeal to folks who have a taste for the bizarre and macabre, I’ve had readers mail me to say they read my book straight through and that the story engaged them from the start. These days, with so many distractions, I consider this as a success, especially when they ask for more. I know only too well how difficult it is to finish reading anything, even a blog post or magazine article. It’s all about telling a good story to entertain.”

Combining elements of dream-like urban fantasy in an occult thriller package, Dorman’s Khepera series offers readers a peek at the underbelly of South African subcultures, weaving in myths and legends, as well as an assortment of memorable characters.

Best-selling South African author Sarah Lotz concludes, “Definitely not for the faint-hearted or easily shocked, Khepera Rising is part hardcore murder mystery, part revenge fantasy and dark Gothic horror, and effortlessly subverts preconceptions about religious intolerance, the “dark arts” and Cape Town’s underground Goth culture with devastating effects. With its deliciously morally ambiguous narrator, non-stop pace, high body-count and gore-splattered pages, it’s sure to outrage some, but lovers of noir, black humour and no-punches-pulled horror will be hooked from the first page. It’s an accomplished, scathing and daring debut from Nerine Dorman, who clearly has a brilliant career ahead of her.”

Khepera Rising (book one) and Khepera Redeemed (book two) are available from Amazon or direct, from the Lyrical Press website (www.lyricalpress.com). Follow the author’s blog at http://nerinedorman.blogspot.com

With a deadline approaching for Arizona to claim a piece of a $499 million dollars stimulus fund, real estate experts and environmentalists are rallying Arizona business owners and communities to care for the environment and a cash incentive before it’s too late.

Phoenix, AZ, October 06, 2010 — $499 million is available for Arizona businesses and homeowners who have initiated recycling, solar energy or other green initiatives but most of the money has not yet been claimed.

“I find it hard to believe that so much money is available for weatherizing and other energy projects but so few Arizona businesses have applied for the funds,” said Trent O’Brien, Vice President of APM, an Arizona HOA Management firm. “I know Arizona businesses and Phoenix HOA
organizations care about the environment. Now they have a cash-incentive to get involved so I hope they do before it’s too late.”

With just 18 months left in the program, which is managed by the US Department of Energy, less than $10 million has been awarded to Phoenix companies and communities for renewable energy projects, such as solar panel installation, electric cars or home weatherization. This has left most of the stimulus fund, $480 million, unclaimed.

While some of the funds are anticipated for release once current Arizona companies see their grant applications approved, industry experts fear most of the fund and the opportunity it represents to improve the environment will disappear in the fall of 2012.

“At APM, we’ve implemented a variety of programs, including water and electricity conservations, which help the environment and help our Home Owners Associations throughout Arizona,” said O’Brien. “We urge all Arizona companies and communities who are considering an energy-saving or recycling program to reach out to the EPA and apply for the cash before it’s gone.

O’Brien wants businesses to realize that the renewable energy fund will do more than help the environment and help residents reduce their energy bills. The fund will also provide struggling Arizona companies with a steady stream of business that keeps workers employed.

Arizona has about 271,400 fewer jobs than it did when the recession began in December 2007. It’s unlikely the stimulus will come close to replacing all those jobs, but business leaders like O’Brien believe it will help some families survive. “If more Arizona businesses with renewable energy programs apply for the grant, they’ll save jobs and help save the environment. We have just 18 months to use that money before it goes away forever.”

This new ebook by Jason Matthews is a guide for anyone to easily make their own website. It covers venues that offer free webhosting with site-building software included and the tips needed to get started. Good for both computer beginners and advanced users who will benefit from extra guidance.

Truckee, CA, September 29, 2010 — How to Make Your Own Free Website: And Your Free Blog Too has just been published by author, Jason Matthews. This step by step manual is designed to assist anyone to make a free website which also includes web hosting. The guide contains over a hundred links to sites, software and programs that are available to the user and also free of cost. The book claims it will save people time, money and effort while getting them on the fast track for establishing an online presence to a global audience.

The book reviews and details many venues that offer free set-up, design and hosting for both websites and blogs. The most recommended places by Matthews for websites are Webs.com and Yola.com. Stated by the author, “Webs.com offers greater range of pre-made templates while Yola.com has easier to use drag and drop editing, more bandwidth plus built-in property tabs for SEO (Search Engine Optimization).” Like web hosts, the blogging world has plenty of free options. The guide equally recommends both WordPress.com and Blogger.com. The opinions expressed by Matthews are that WordPress.com looks more professional and comes with better statistic monitoring and an extremely helpful support forum while Blogger.com is easier to use and allows JavaScript gadgets. Because WordPress.com does not allow JavaScript gadgets/widgets, many common widgets are more difficult to implement and require “work-arounds” which can be time consuming.

The book dedicates many chapters to custom widgets/gadgets, selling with PayPal, marketing with social media, SEO tips and making the most out of a website in general. There are two example sites built for the instruction of the book: http://yourownfreewebsite.webs.com and http://yourownfreewebsite.yolasite.com.

The chapters include: Preliminary Questions and Remarks, Website or Blog, What’s the Difference?, Deciding on a Domain Name, The List of Free Website Companies, The List of Free Blogging Companies, Building Your Website, Building Your Blog Site, Common Custom Modules/Widgets, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Social Media, Selling With PayPal, PR (Public Relations), Other Things You Can Do, Maintenance, Review List of Highly Recommended Programs and Sites, Organizations to Donate to Once You Can and Cheating With Money.

How to Make Your Own Free Website: And Your Free Blog Too is available as an ebook at Amazon Kindle and in multiple formats at the website, http://yourownfreewebsite.webs.com. Jason Matthews is also the author of two novels, The Little Universe and Jim’s Life, and the guide, How to Make, Market and Sell Ebooks All for Free.

Online retailer launches campaign to get books and other necessities under the tree for the most innocent victims of the AIDS epidemic.

Memphis, TN, November 18, 2009 — While BookWorm Publishing’s business is to make reading fun for kids, this Christmas Season, the company seized an opportunity to give back by announcing its first annual “Books from Santa” campaign. Proceeds from online purchases between now and December 19th will be used to donate Personalized Books and other items from the “wish list” of Hope House Day Care for children affected by the AIDS epidemic.

Located in Tennessee, Hope House is a non-profit agency that envisions being the catalyst for change in the lives children who are infected or affected by the HIV virus, through their parent or caregiver who is either HIV+, or has already died from AIDS related illnesses.

“We are proud to help make a difference in the lives of children in our local community. As our business reaches a number of parents, teachers, and givers this Holiday Season, we also want to bring awareness to the amazing work that Hope House is doing,” says BookWorm’s owner, Marcella Woodard.

Since there are already many organizations that donate toys, www.book-worm-store.com wanted to give something unique. Personalized Books make reading fun and raise the self esteem of the child that is featured in them.

Hope House began in 1994 as a daycare. But, because most of the families affected by AIDS live in disadvantaged areas surrounded by extreme poverty, lack of education, and substance abuse, Hope House recognized the need to expand its doors to include complete Social Services. Now they are equipped to provide GED classes to parents, housing assistance, respite care, and more.

About Hope House:
Hope House is the only facility in the State of Tennessee designed to meet the unique needs of HIV affected children. The mission of Hope House is to improve the quality of life of HIV-impacted children and their families by addressing their educational, social, psychological, and health needs. To learn more about Hope House or to make a donation, please visit www.hopehousedaycare.org.

About BookWorm Publishing:

Ted L. Nancy last person in America to put up website.

Los Angeles, CA, October 09, 2009 — Ted L. Nancy last person in America to put up website.

www.TedLNancy.com. No one’s been waiting for it! No one’s been asking for it! But Ted L. Nancy put it up anyway. He is defeated. He is a broken man. He is the last person to put up a website. His website’s even after the “Turn Your Trash Into Trash” website. How’s that for last? Huh?

Ted L. Nancy, author of the best selling “Letters From A Nut” books amongst others, has the Official Ted L. Nancy Website up and running. (For all your Ted L. Nancy needs)

So why did Mr. Nancy finally put up a website? His Norwegian-American attorney Eric Bjorgum explains for two good reasons.

One to have a place he can write more regularly. Ted likes to write and people seem to like his writing. So you’ll see all his books and new material, drawings, lots of Ted stuff.

And two, as Ted says on his website…

“I have noticed over the years that there are quite a few people claiming to be me. I have seen my name just about everywhere on the Internet. On Myspace, Facebook, You Tube. I have seen a Canadian Ted L. Nancy, a Rabbi Ted L. Nancy. I have seen my name signed to so many message and blog sites that I honestly lost count. Believe me this is not imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”

So Ted wants to set the record straight here. Once and for all. As he explains to me (his Norwegian-American Attorney):

“I have never been on Myspace, Facebook, You Tube and, of course, I have never been on Funny Or Die.

“I have never given Mercedes Benz advice. I am not a Dedicated MacNNer or on any Apple websites. I have no organizations for people to join. No societies, associations, and of course, I have no clubs. I ask no one to submit videos. I do not play comedy clubs. I have no comedy club DVD’s for sale. If you want to find my books on Amazon they are under Ted L. Nancy or Jerry Seinfeld.”

So…that’s why Ted put up his website. If you think you are on another Ted L. Nancy website — you are not! This is the official website. Accept no imitations. (Except in fake crab food – which is dee-licious) Please stop by often. You can even send Ted a message.

Dallas, Texas October 10, 2009 -– Instamation Network News – Reece Manley, spirituality expert and new Christian author, has gained another award. This time the spirituality expert and new Christian author has won the Instamation News Network Best Christian Book of the Year. The book Crossing Twice was the work which garnered the prize.

Crossing Twice: Answers from the Source recounts the true near death experience of Dr. Reece Manley during a five month battle with an advanced case of MRSA Pneumonia. Dr. Manley experienced crossing over into the afterlife and vividly describes the joyous peace, love and acceptance which await us all.

“It was a life altering experience. It changed so many facets of how I live,” begins Dr. Manley. “The most significant change is in how I provide counseling to my clients. I had to resign any state licenses and become a pastoral counselor in order to share the news with my clients. There is so much love, peace and power to be used in our lives, right here, right now, which I understand since my crossing.”

Crossing Twice: Answers from the Source also stands ready to make a perfect Christian Christmas gift. In addition, Crossing Twice has already won one Book of the Year title, garnered from the Texas-based Instanmation Information Network. Dr. Reece Manley, an established spirituality expert, is humbled by all of the attention. “I am very humbled but very excited to see Crossing Twice receiving such attention,” says Dr. Manley.

Crossing Twice answers several of the top questions Dr. Reece Manley receives from his clients. And, as a spirituality expert, he delivers the answers with both science and spiritual authority. Questions include “Does it Hurt When We Die?” and “Is There a Hell?”

One reader, Michelle Plyer, has this to say, “This is going to be the best Christian Christmas gift for the entire season. Anybody wanting to give a perfect Christian Christmas gift will buy several copies. Dr. Manley is not only a spirituality expert, he is an amazingly funny, poignant author.”

Persons wishing to purchase Crossing Twice as one of the best Christian Christmas gifts can receive special pricing at www.spiritthinking.net.

Readers may order Crossing Twice: Answers from the Source, via Amazon (simply search Reece Manley in the first search bar) or directly at www.spiritthinking.net . The author may be reached at reece@manely.net.

Ahmedabad, India, Oct. 10th, 2009: The online shopping site Infibeam.com has included the just launched Chetan Bhagat book ’2 States: The Story of My Marriage’ in its books store. Chetan Bhagat is the author of popular and accepted novels like One Night at the Call Centre, Five Point Someone, and Three Mistakes of My Life.

’2 States: The Story of My Marriage’ is Chetan Bhagat’s fourth Novel, which is about the generally awkward situation that people in love have to face from their families in India while opting for a love marriage. The novel is about how different cultural traditions become obstacles that need to be crossed before a love affair can culminate into a successful marriage.

“Chetan Bhagat is amongst India’s best-loved authors and we feel delighted to release his fourth novel on our website. Infibeam.com feels thrilled in promoting Chetan Bhagat books, as he is the one author who is loved for his simple language and flowing story line. For the benefit of our online shoppers, we are currently offering a 100% cash back offer, which means that they will get the book for free.” says Vishal Mehta, Founder & CEO of Infibeam.com.

Chetan Bhagat’s novel is about two fictitious characters Krish and Ananya who hail from Punjab and Tamil Nadu respectively, and are deeply in love with each other. Their plans to get married are initially met with stiff resistance from their parents and both face a tough time convincing their parents to get married eventually.

The author draws from his own experience about marriage as he is a Punjabi hailing from Delhi and his wife Anusha is a Tamilian. They both met at IIM Ahmedabad and fell in love. Given their different backgrounds, both had a tough time in convincing their parents before they could finally get married.

The book is a witty account on love marriages Indian style, while the book title brings to mind the discomfited situation that two individuals in love hailing from two different states face on their way to marriage. The varied cultural backgrounds get them into a situation where their families must come on common ground before their betrothal can be decided. ’2 States’ is about the hindrances and cultural shocks that inter community marriages can expose, all packed in an ideal style and humorous manner.

Infibeam.com is pompous to release this book with a 100% cash back offer with free shipping in India, which means that the book is free of cost to the buyer. Chetan Bhagat impresses every one with his originality and remarkable content that is hard to escape attention.
