New Orleans, Louisiana ( Jkhanok ) November 5, 2009 – “With the introduction of our new Free Web Design and Development Tool we are able to give our clients easy to use tools for web development. If you don’t want to do the actual design but only to add content, then there are free pre-made web templates that you can use to build your site on to it. Just search the web for free HTML template or free CSS template and you should be finding lot of sites offering free templates.“ says Mr. Greg Smith of Aedesigns.net

Mr. Smith explains how the Free Web Design and Development Tool works—“Once you find a template, you can download it to one of your computer folders for later use. You then open the template with an HTML editor that will allow you to add necessary text to the template. With a right pre-made template, all you do is just filling in the spots. If you are building a professional looking business site with lot of options and ecommerce functionally, then you might not be able to design the site all by yourself. It might be a good idea to hire professional web designer who can do a professional job for you.”

He added that, “If you are pretty comfortable in on doing what you do but need a little help here and there, then there are lots of tutorial sites where you can find instruction on practically any topics. If you are wondering about how to permanently redirect a page or a site to another one or how to create a new htaccess file, all you need to do is to make a Google search where you will find the tutorial that will show you how Professional web design doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg anymore. Internet has brought the entire world together where skilled web designers from developing countries are offering their services on the web for a fraction of the cost compared to a designer from a developed country. If it’s a large site and have areas of common content, then make sure to use SSI (service site include) or PHP include that will save you a lot of time on future change.”

Mansfield, UK, November 05, 2009 — Easyspace, one of the leading providers of domain names and web hosting services in the UK, has announced the launch of an extensive library of easy to install SaaS applications for its virtual server range.

Installable via the Plesk Power Pack, available as an addon to the Plesk Control panel, customers will have access to a multitude of Software as a Service applications designed to aid the main areas of business from Inventory Management and HR through to Collaboration and Ecommerce.

Amongst the most well known applications included as part of the Power Pack are Joomla, Wordpress, Magento Ecommerce, Php Bulletin Board, Php Money and Drupal.

“Over 150 SaaS applications are now available to customers through this latest addition to our Virtual Server range, with each application being a potential opportunity for business improvement. At just £4.95 per month, this proves fantastic value for money. Users can easily install robust online stores, chat and blogging software, finance management tools, project management tools and more at a fraction of the cost of doing each individually through other channels” comments Errol Vanderhorst, Managing Director at Easyspace.

SaaS applications are growing ever more popular with consumers and businesses alike and the inclusion of such a wide range of apps directly via hosting providers is only going to increase the awareness, usage and popularity of them.

Errol continued, “In an age where buzz words such as SaaS and Cloud Computing are becoming ever more common, it’s important to make sure potential users have access to tools classified as such. We already offer a Cloud Hosting solution via our Virtual Server packages and the addition of SaaS applications only serves to further bolsters their position amongst the most competitive servers currently available on the market.”

Easyspace, known for its web hosting and domain names solutions, currently offers four Virtual Server packages within its VPS range. From the customisable Virtual Server, through two standard packages to a tailored Ruby on Rails specific solution, servers start from as little as £9.95 per month and can be enhanced with a series of available boltons.

Many professionals in the used medical equipment industry are actively using online marketplaces to expand their sale distribution channels.

Nicosia, Cyprus, November 02, 2009 — Many professionals in the used medical equipment industry are actively using online marketplaces to expand their sale distribution channels. These marketplaces can be an excellent means of expanding sales; however, in order to successfully sell inventory online, sellers must know the difference between effective and ineffective listings.

If you go onto any online marketplace, you can quickly recognize which listings attract buyers and which don’t – chances are that you will only open up the postings of items which were created effectively and completely overlook all others. The same applies for used medical equipment postings – sellers that want to successfully sell their used medical equipment online, should be familiar with the parameters that set apart an effective listing from an ineffective one, because ultimately effective listings will increase opening rates and sales.

MedWOW.com – a leading global marketplace for buying and selling used medical equipment, is popular amongst medical equipment buyers because of the comprehensive information contained in the listings posted on the site. MedWOW advises sellers with the following posting tips to increase their sale rates on the site:

Don’t just fill in the mandatory fields
The more information that your posting contains, the greater the chances are that buyers will look at it, and ultimately purchase it. If you have information available to complete the optional fields, it will only be in your best interest to include it when posting. By doing so, you will receive less inquiries requesting additional information about the item and more inquiries from buyers that are actually ready to buy.

Include prices in your listings
Listings with prices have significantly higher opening rates. Buyers are often deterred from requesting prices from sellers, as it can slow down the process. Additionally, listings without prices can give the impression that the item is overpriced. If you are not sure what the price of your item should be, you may search for similar items posted on MedWOW and see the prices requested for items such as yours.

Write an item description
Include as many details as possible, such as technical specifications. If possible, write a description in English, as well as in your local language, and include descriptions in any other language that you may know.

Upload images
Postings with images have a significantly higher opening rate, and therefore have a greater likelihood of being sold on MedWOW. It is recommended that you upload pictures of the actual item and not pictures that you have downloaded from the Internet. Buyers are interested in viewing images that accurately represent the actual item that is being sold rather than a catalog picture.

Agree to have inspections performed on your item
By agreeing to have inspections performed on your item, you are only increasing your credibility with buyers. Buyers feel more protected knowing that they can have an inspection performed on an item prior to purchasing it.

Respond promptly to buyers’ requests
By responding promptly to buyers’ requests (e.g. questions, image requests, negotiation requests, quote requests), you will only increase your chances of selling to the buyer. If you put off responding to a buyer’s request, chances are that they will purchase the item from another seller.

Promote your items
Request a promotion for your item(s) in the locations that you are interested in selling to, and MedWOW will send out a notification about your item(s) to thousands of registered and unregistered potential buyers.

About MedWOW
MedWOW.com is an innovative online marketplace specifically designed for used medical equipment professionals. The site connects buyers, sellers and service providers from around the world through unique online tools and features.

Toronto, ON, November 10, 2009 — More sophisticated software and algorithms made automated translation quite popular during the last couple of years. Using that option allows users to quickly understand what web pages in foreign languages are all about. However, using machine translation for business purposes can have detrimental effects and even mark an end of your company in severe cases. Common reasons for that are the lack of accuracy, failure to adapt translation to specific linguistic requirements, inadequate professionalism and, what is vital, inability to assure confidentiality of information submitted.

Omnicom Translations Inc. (www.omnicomtranslations.com) has been serving clients in North America for several decades and became a trusted partner in language services. We hear on a daily basis stories about how badly business reputation can be damaged by improperly translated documents. More often than not we are asked by our clients to correct the work done by insufficiently qualified translators relying on machine translation.

Nottingham, United Kingdom ( 2009) – Heart Internet, a leading web hosting company based in the UK, have added a new generic Nominet tag to their control panel to allow resellers to transfer and register domain names without Heat Internet’s tag appearing anywhere!

Due to Nominet’s rules relating to the registration of .uk domain names, until now all domain names had to be registered through the Heart Internet tag, thus allowing resellers’ clients to see that Heart Internet was the hosting company. But, this has now all changed with the addition of Heart Internet’s new generic tag, which provides resellers with a truly white label web hosting package, without ever revealing Heart Internet’s name or details.

Called EXTEND, the new white label tag can be accessed in the preferences section of the Reseller Hosting Control Centre and enables resellers to transfer and register domain names under their own brand identity, while ensuring the same superior hosting for which Heart Internet are renowned.

“We work constantly to improve the service we offer to resellers,” said Jonathan Brealey, Managing Director of Heart Internet. “With the addition of the new generic tag, we can now offer a bespoke and completely white label service to resellers, which helps to maintain reseller brand integrity.”

A new initiative could help manufacturers in the North East to unlock thousands of pounds in cost savings and completely change their approach to the way they deal with waste.

Rethink Waste has been launched by sustainability experts Envirowise with support from manufacturers’ organisation EEF and will help companies discover the ‘true’ cost of waste to their business.

For example, Envirowise experience has shown that manufacturers taking action to reduce waste and improve their resource efficiency can save up to £1,000 per employee. Across the UK, around £500 million could be saved annually.

Companies can register at envirowise.gov.uk/rethink from October 2009 and the course begins early in 2010. Three advice-packed online modules will take businesses through the key steps of collecting benchmarking data, developing an action plan and then implementing a waste saving strategy. Participants will also have access to a virtual factory tour, audiocasts and an online resource efficiency conference.

Envirowise Regional Manager for the North East, Guy Bashford, said: “While many UK manufacturers have enthusiastically adopted recycling measures , there are more opportunities to reduce and re-use materials as well – actions that could substantially benefit their bottom line. With landfill tax set to rise to £48 per tonne in 2010/2011 the economic imperative to minimise waste at every opportunity is clear.”

John Herbert, Health, Safety, Climate and Environment Leader for EEF in the North East adds: “As outlined in EEF’s recent ‘Manufacturing Our Future’ report, climate change is a long-term challenge that manufacturers will need to face if they are to survive and thrive. We welcome additional government support to help the sector get the best from its resources. Free online tools such as Rethink Waste offer a practical and accessible route to resource efficiency and we will be encouraging our members to take part.”

Manufacturers can register for Rethink Waste before 31 December 2009. Registrations can be made at envirowise.gov.uk/rethink.

Chiseldon, Swindon ( Jkhanok ) November 9, 2009 -NextMention*, the highly anticipated RealTime web monitoring technology, is now available for beta testing for free. Uniquely, NextMention monitors the whole web including news, social networks, Twitter, blogs, bulletin boards, portals and more. Now for the first time users can follow a favourite team, monitor an organisation and its competitors or even keep a close watch on shares – with news instantly delivered via IM and/or email.

David Phillips, Internet strategist; Author of Online Public Relations and director of KLEA Global Ltd., said that NextMention was the first in a pipeline of impressive products and services which take advantage of KLEA Labs RealTime monitoring technology.

He admits that there are a host of services already covering a wide range of online and offline media, but emphasises that very few offer RealTime services covering the entire web.

“Today companies and individuals demand RealTime information – just in time is just too slow! While some services may be swift, they do not include all the channels out there – in fact none can comprehensively monitor all the content that is available online. If it were so, the unmediated flow from the many divergent channels from web sites to news to blogs, wikis, Twitter, social networks and all the rest would be a jumbled morass.

The service provided by Klea Global through its www.nextmention.com service resolves these issues.

It monitors’ the web for everything and uses a Bayesian bot to sort out the pages into media types. The delivery timing can be specified – with the beta service providing ten minute, hourly or daily updates free, and real time updates in our soon to be announced premium service.

The beta version allows for 5 searches which you can change or delete; select delivery intervals and channels; stop and restart the service. The www.nextmention.com website will store all your citations for a week while KLEA Global’s clever software tells you which online category each citation belongs to.

Soon to be announced are Klea Global’s ReputationWall* and BlogFinder* – all of which comprise part of the three tiered, Klea News, Klea View and Klea Insight service offering.

Blue Echo Solutions announced today it has reduced the price of the award winning hd EZ lock, the patent pending Universal Locking HDMI Adapter by 25% to $14.95 a pair.

Lakewood, WA, November 05, 2009 — Blue Echo Solutions, Inc., the manufacturer of the patent pending hd EZ lock, announced today a 25% price reduction on its hd EZ lock Universal Locking HDMI Cable Adapter. hd EZ lock, winner of a 2009 CES Innovations Award, is now available at a price of $14.95 for a pair. Dealer and Distributor pricing have also been reduced.

“Thanks to the support we’ve received from our early adopters, both on a retail and wholesale level, Blue Echo Solutions has been able to negotiate better manufacturing costs with our US Manufacturer, which has allowed us to pass the price savings on to our customers” says Tony Eppright, President of Blue Echo Solutions.

More and more HDMI Cable Manufacturers are beginning to address the issues with the HDMI Connection, namely a fragile HDMI Connector that can be damaged easily from stress, and a problem with HDMI Connections causing intermittent signal dropouts or becoming completely disconnected. Most of the solutions address the cable becoming disconnected, but many of them do nothing to address the damage that can be caused to an HDMI Component by the stress placed on the HDMI Input. hd EZ lock addresses both issues, by securing one’s HDMI Cable to prevent signal dropouts and disconnects caused by a loose HDMI Cable or loose connection, and by eliminating Stress on the HDMI Input by supporting the HDMI Cable from the component’s chassis.

In addition to this, most solutions available require the purchase of a specific brand of HDMI Cable. hd EZ lock is the only adapter available that secures the HDMI Cable and eliminate stress while using the HDMI Cable of choice, as hd EZ lock works universally with most HDMI Cables and HDMI Components on the market.

hd EZ lock typically installs in a couple of minutes or less, allows easy changing of HDMI Cables after installation, and is reusable if the HDMI Cables or Components are changed.

hd EZ lock has helped many of users to:

Eliminate Intermittent Signal dropouts due to a poor HDMI Connection
Remedy an intermittent Signal due to a fragile HDMI Connector by eliminating stress on the HDMI Input
Keep HDMI Cables from coming disconnected when moving components
Gain peace of mind in knowing that once an HDMI Connection is secured with hd EZ lock, there is no need to worry about damaging the HDMI Input or having to track down a problem HDMI Connection due to the physical connection

hd EZ lock™ is designed to work with most HDMI Cables on the market, and with most HDMI Components by using either the fixing screw above or below the HDMI Input, or with the supplied 3m Very High Bond (VHB) adhesive. hd EZ lock is designed, engineered and manufactured in the USA.

USA , November 06, 2009 — The CPV industry might have expanded very rapidly but now it needs to come up with successful long-term demonstrations with current design technologies

The last couple of years have proved to be an eventful period for an emerging technology like CPV.

Even as the sector has witnessed introduction of several prototypes and commercial projects, it is being increasingly felt that the CPV technology companies currently need to prove their mettle. If on one hand, there is no doubt over the fact that the industry is on the brink of growth, on the other, the industry seems to be hindered by a number of internal and external technological and financial constraints.

From a utility’s perspective, Sacramento Muncipal Utilities District’s project manager, Advanced Renewables & Distributed Generation Technologies, Obadiah Bartholomy, believes that that the CPV industry needs real demonstrations at scale of technologies that have a clear pathway to costs per MWh that are competitive with traditional PV arrays.

“The industry also needs public datasets of performance, with 3rd party testing to provide credibility and clear expectations for operations and maintenance costs,” says Bartholomy, who is scheduled to speak at CPV Today’s 2nd CPV Summit US, to be held in San Diego (December 2-3) this year.

Bartholomy added that reliability and robustness of current designs need to be shown in arrays of 10’s to hundreds of units.

“2010 will likely see deployment of large numbers of units in Europe and further exploratory arrays in the US. Developer owned power purchase agreements may allow utilities to explore larger arrays, but technology reliability must be demonstrated,” he added.

Challenges

CPV technology companies have identified that they have to work on their product design and manufacturing cost in order to combat rival technologies.

This will be a major challenge going forward as the selling price of competing technologies has gone down considerably. Overall, this is due to weak demand and over capacity in the industry.

Bartholomy says SMUD expects the price for ‘rival technologies’ to stay low and even decline as substantial new low-cost capacity has been brought on-line.

“Our expectation is that CPV technologies will need to show clear pathways to low $/MWh costs, through demonstrated high energy yields, high reliability, and low-cost materials,” he says.

Bartholomy pointed out that the CPV industry is viewed as being higher risk than traditional PV projects currently. While the technology has been around for a long time, successful long-term demonstrations with current-design technologies are in short supply.

“As a result, traditionally risk-averse utilities are more likely to opt for low-risk PPA’s with smaller capacity installations until there is greater experience with the current generation of technologies,” concluded Bartholomy.

Bartholomy, along with a host of other speakers, is scheduled to speak at the 2nd CPV Summit US. He will be part of the `CPV’s present state in the solar world’ session. Other speakers in the panel include:
