Scottsdale, AZ June 25, 2009 — To coincide with the start of divorce proceedings of Jon and Kate Gosselin, one businessman is offering the domain names Jonhateskate.com and Katehatesjon.com for sale, with an active listing at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320388499512. The entrepreneur who wishes to remain anonymous says that “eventually someone will want to blog about this event and what a better domain(s) to use for the website.”
The entrepreneur says that the domains are also listed on craigslist.org for sale also. “You never know who is interested in starting a new blog about Jon and Kate Gosselin” which is why the names were registered and listed for sale.
Although the listing http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320388499512 is relatively new, emailed offers have been received and are considered. Jon and Kate Plus 8 will be a hot topic for quite a while with over 10 million viewers tuning in for the announcement and various Internet gossip sites keeping up with the news.
To ease the fear of a buyer, the anonymous seller says that a domain agent will be used to transfer the funds and domain names through godaddy.com, which is a large domain register and legitimate source to use for transactions such as these.
