“Tax increases of up to 500% have forced us to take these drastic measures. In all my 38 years in real estate, I’ve never seen a tax increase impact quite like this one. The recommended retail price of a new Holden Barina plus on road costs is around $17,400. If you add on the First Home Owners Grant, the savings are around $42,000 for first home buyers.” said Patricia Hautop.
“A lot of families and businesses are doing it tough in the northern suburbs at the moment. Some people may call giving away cars a gimmick, but least we’re rolling up our sleeves and giving the purchasers a far go. As long as the house and land package purchaser settles on the land before 30th June 2009, they can pick up the keys for their new Barina and their new home at the same time” Said Patricia Hautop.
